NYLI elects chief administrative officer

The board of New York Life Insurance has elected Frank Boccio to the position of executive vice president and CAO.

New York Life Insurance Co. has elected Frank Boccio to the position of executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
Mr. Boccio will be responsible for individual policy services, corporate information, corporate services, corporate internet and business resiliency, according to the company.
He will report to Ted Mathas, the company’s president and chief operating officer.
Mr. Boccio has held several managerial positions at the company and has been responsible for underwriting, claims, customer service, systems, administration and human resources.
A former chairman of the Management Advisory Council and member of the Executive Management Committee, he was most recently named chief administrative officer of the Life and Annuity unit, in 2002.
