Previously, he was chief financial officer for HTH Worldwide in Radnor, Pa.

AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co. of New York has named Chris Winans, 57, to the newly created position of senior vice president of external affairs.

Previously, he was vice president of media relations at American International Group Inc. in New York.

Schroders PLC of London has hired Ronald Albahary, 40, to lead its strategic-investment-solutions initiatives in North America.

He will be responsible for developing and executing Schroders’ strategy to leverage its global multiasset and quantitative-investment capabilities into North America.

Previously, Mr. Albahary was managing director of the private-client-management group at SEI Investments Co. of Oaks, Pa.

Lynx Investment Advisory LLC of Washington has appointed Michael R. Marsh, 50, managing director of national strategic and business development. Previously, he was a regional vice president at New York-based Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.’s private-investor division in Washington.

Additionally, Lynx has hired Matthew Gelfand, 52, as chief in-vestment officer for consulting activities and direct research on managers and global capital markets. Previously, he was the founder of financial planning firm MDG Financial Advisors LLC of Bethesda, Md.

Lynx has also appointed Vipin Sahijwani, 36, as vice president of research and risk management.

Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Arithmetrics LLC, a hedge fund in Arlington, Va.

ETF Portfolio Solutions Inc. of Overland, Kan., has hired William E. Koehler, 47, as chief investment officer.

Previously, he was a vice president at American Century Investments of Kansas City, Mo., where he led the day-to-day investment oversight efforts.

Mr. Koehler was a founding member of the firm’s investment oversight committee, which is responsible for the firm’s 32 investment strategies, representing about $100 billion in assets under management spread across 88 mutual funds and separate accounts.

American Century Investments of Kansas City, Mo., has hired Joseph Gotelli, 29, as part of its fixed-income group as a portfolio manager on the team responsible for California Tax-Free Bond.

Previously, he was at Franklin Templeton Investments of San Mateo, Calif., where he served as assistant portfolio manager on various long- and short-term municipal bond portfolios. Mr. Gotelli also was responsible for the day-to-day management of tax-exempt-money-market-fund assets.

American Century Investment Management Inc. of Kansas City, Mo., has hired Gregory Burrill, 41, and Mick Schell, 39, as vice presidents and wealth management consultants.

Mr. Burrill will market company products to wealth management firms in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

Previously, he was a regional vice president with RiverSource Investments of Minneapolis.

Mr. Schell, 39, will be responsible for the accumulation of assets within the wealth management division in the North Florida territory.

Previously, he was a regional vice president with Old Mutual Investment Partners Inc. of Denver.

Philadelphia-based Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp.’s retirement income security ventures group has hired Bobby Greenberg, 37, as vice president and head of consumer insights and strategic intelligence.

Previously, he served as vice president of Affinion Loyalty Group Inc. of Richmond, Va.

Lincoln Financial Advisors also has named Austin Rosenthal, 29, assistant vice president and director of innovation for the group, and Todd Manke, 39, director of consumer insights for the group.

Previously, Mr. Rosenthal was managing director at New York-based Integrated Finance Ltd., and Mr. Manke served as senior manager of statistical analysis at Capital One Auto Finance Inc. of Plano, Texas.
