Davidson Cos. of Great Falls, Mont., has hired Tim Austin, 47, as senior vice president and chief operations officer.

He is responsible for continuing to develop the firm’s operations and information technology areas, which together employ more than 60 people in several states.

Previously, Mr. Austin was a vice president of program management office and business transformation in the IT and operations areas for Minneapolis-based Ameriprise Financial Inc.’s brokerage business.

Bancnorth Investment Group Inc. of Portland, Maine, has hired Jennifer N. Wenz, 28, as a financial adviser based in the TD Bank branch in Washingtonville, N.Y.

She provides comprehensive retirement and financial planning, including individual retirement accounts, Section 529 college savings plans, life insurance, long term care insurance and employee-sponsored retirement plans for individuals as well as small businesses throughout the Hudson Valley in New York.

Previously, Ms. Wenz worked as a financial services representative for Buffalo, N.Y.-based M&T Bank Corp.

Great-West Retirement Services of Greenwood Village, Colo., has promoted Jo Wetherille, 45, to national sales director and hired Juan Daviess, 53, as a relationship manager for its bank services group.

Ms. Wetherille supports the distribution of 401(k) products through Great-West’s bank channel. Previously, she served as a consultant with the organization, assisting with establishing the bank services group.

Mr. Daviess has responsibility for bank services group customers in western Oregon. Previously, he was a regional pension specialist at Radnor, Pa.-based Lincoln Financial Group.

StockCross Financial Services Inc. of Beverly Hills, Calif., has hired industry veteran Eric Tassell, 43, as senior vice president of corporate services.

He will focus on furthering the growth and development of the company’s corporate-services unit, which includes its employee stock ownership plans, employee stock purchase plans and additional equity compensation vehicles.

Previously, Mr. Tassell served as mid-market segment leader at E*Trade Financial Corporate Services of New York.

In addition, StockCross Financial Services has hired John H. Chapel, 56, as senior vice president of retail-brokerage services.

He will focus on the development of retail services and wealth management in key target markets. Previously, Mr. Chapel was president of the U.S. brokerage division at TD Waterhouse Group Inc. of New York.

Invescor Ltd. of Farmington Hills, Mich., has hired Andrea Kidder, 36, as an account executive.

She will work with insurance and financial professionals nationally to promote and package life settlement transactions with Invescor and will have an active role in increasing the company’s presence as a back-office and brokerage service in the national life settlement marketplace.

Previously, Ms. Kidder was a sales manager responsible for promoting the sale of homes and home sites at Equity Lifestyle Properties Inc. of Chicago.

Jefferies & Co. Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group Inc. of New York, has hired A. Markman Peters, 51, as managing director and head of the firm’s wealth management group.

Previously, he was executive vice president and head of private wealth management at Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks Inc.

Invesco Real Estate, a Dallas-based unit of Invesco Ltd. of Atlanta, has promoted Mark Roberts, 47, to global director of research and Mike Sobolik, 46, to regional director of research in North America.

Mr. Roberts will oversee research in North America, Europe and Asia to ensure best practices and assist with relative value decisions. Previously, he was director of investment research in North America.

Mr. Sobolik’s role as research director involves oversight of the group’s forecasting and analysis processes, including the integration of forecasts and outlooks into the firm’s investment underwriting. Previously, he was director and senior market analyst.

Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC of Detroit has hired Rick Sukkar, 41, as a managing director. He will work to expand and enhance Deloitte’s investment-banking and mergers and acquisitions services.

Previously, Mr. Sukkar was as an executive director at New York-based JPMorgan Chase & Co.
