Financial Principles LLC of Fairfield, N.J., has hired Ryan Benson, 26, as business relationship coordinator.

He will focus on advanced planning and is responsible for supporting the managing partners on all levels of client service and the development of new relationships.

Previously, Mr. Benson was an associate at Sontag Advisory LLC in New York, where he was responsible for the execution of discretionary portfolio trading and supporting the partners with advanced planning and client service.

Fogel Neale Partners LLC of New York has hired Henry Gotlob, Robert Gropper, Denise Otten and Harry Peden.

As head of sales and recruiting, Mr. Gotlob, 63, is responsible for broker and adviser recruitment, program development and training. Previously, he was eastern divisional sales officer for Citigroup Inc.’s Smith Barney unit in New York.

As an investment consultant, Mr. Gropper, 60, is responsible for providing investment strategy, with a focus on equities. Previously, he was a portfolio manager for Republic National Bank in New York.

Ms. Otten, 49, is senior vice president of wealth management in Parsippany, N.J.

She specializes in retirement and estate planning, with a focus on annuity and bond portfolio reviews. Ms. Otten also obtains licenses.

Previously, she was a financial adviser at Morgan Stanley of New York, where she was responsible for client portfolio management and financial planning in Fairfield, N.J.

Mr. Peden, 43, joins Fogel Neale Partners as a private-wealth adviser in the firm’s insurance and estate-planning group, where he is responsible for advising clients.

Previously, he was a Greenwich, Conn.-based financial adviser with Morgan Stanley’s global wealth management group.

Commonwealth Capital Corp. of Clearwater, Fla., has hired Gregory M. Lorenz, 47, as president of Commonwealth Capital Securities Corp.

He is responsible for managing due-diligence and broker-dealer development, as well as coordination of the national sales and marketing effort, syndication and product development.

Previously, Mr. Lorenz was a financial adviser for E*Trade Financial Corp. of New York.

Raymond James Financial Inc. of St. Petersburg, Fla., has hired Rex Sherry, 49, as a managing director in the firm’s technology and communications investment-banking group.

He will help build the Raymond James technology investment-banking business, with a particular focus on the semiconductor sector, and will work in San Francisco.

Previously, Mr. Sherry was head of technology investment banking at The Bear Stearns Co. Inc. of New York.

Scout Investment Advisors Inc. of Kansas City, Mo., has hired Andrew Iseman, 45, as chief executive.

He will work closely with the existing management team and will take on the responsibilities of leading all facets of the firm, including the setting of overall strategic direction, investment management, sales and distribution, client services, operations and compliance.

Previously, Mr. Iseman was chief operating officer for RK Capital Management LLC in Denver.

Citi Private Bank of New York has hired John Entenberg, 53, and William Goettert, 52, as managing directors and private bankers.

Both are responsible for delivering global private-banking solutions, including access to capital, innovative investment opportunities, and trust and estate services, to ultrahigh-net-worth clients.

Previously, both Mr. Entenberg and Mr. Goettert were senior vice presidents and international financial advisers in Weston, Fla., at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management of New York.

Odeon Capital Group LLC of New York has hired Robert Grimm, 62, as head of corporate trading and David Marsh, 37, as a research analyst covering distressed and high-yield corporate bonds.

Mr. Grimm’s responsibilities include overseeing Odeon’s high-yield and distressed trading in corporate bonds. Previously, he was head of high-yield trading at McMahan Securities Co. LP of Greenwich, Conn.

Previously, Mr. Marsh was a high-yield analyst with McMahan Securities.

Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management of Atlanta has hired Logan Allin, 29, as head of strategy and client experience. He will be based in Newport Beach, Calif.

Previously, he was senior vice president in Beverly Hills, Calif., at Los Angeles-based City National Bank’s wealth management division, where he was responsible for strategic initiatives.

Cetera Financial Group of Los Angeles has hired Alex Kaye, 41, as vice president in the research department.

He is responsible for all internal and third-party research, as well as establishing a research team to assist in expanding Cetera’s research offerings.

Previously, Mr. Kaye was a senior portfolio manager, vice president and investment committee member at Wilshire Associates Inc. of Santa Monica, Calif. There, he was responsible for managing Wilshire-branded multi-manager mutual funds in addition to developing market and performance commentary and white papers.
