Clark Capital Management Group Inc. of Philadelphia has promoted Brendan Clark, 49, to president, from executive vice president of business development.

In his new role, he is responsible for business development initiatives, as well as managing the firm’s service support team and marketing functions.

Hatteras Funds of Raleigh, N.C., has hired Thomas Riegert, 30, as a portfolio management associate,

He is responsible for supporting portfolio and risk management, manager research and due diligence for Hatteras Alternative Mutual Funds LLC.

Previously, Mr. Riegert was an investment manager and assistant vice president of wealth management with Wells Fargo & Co. of San Francisco.

Aria Retirement Solutions Inc. of San Francisco has made two hires for its sales team.

Tyler Randall, 40, joins as senior vice president and divisional sales director, and is responsible for the sales distribution in the Western division. Previously, he was a wholesaler and divisional sales manager at John Hancock Annuities of Boston.

Holly Onachilla, 42, was named senior vice president and divisional sales director, and is responsible for the sales distribution in the Eastern division. Previously, she was director of sales at TIAA-CREF of New York.

Flynn Zito Capital Management LLC of Garden City, N.Y., has hired Sean Replogle, 25, as a trading and operations associate.

He is responsible for conducting market research on securities and mutual funds, handling all securities transactions, monitoring portfolios and helping the adviser serve clients.

Previously, Mr. Replogle was a portfolio administrator associate at State Street Corp. of Boston.

Raymond James & Associates Inc. of St. Petersburg, Fla., has made several new hires, all from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC of New York.

Will Bach, 29, and Mike Fink, 54, joined as financial advisers. Previously, they were advisers at MSSB.

Brad Drager, 27, also was named a financial adviser. Previously, he was a consulting group analyst at MSSB.

Emilie Theriot, 39, was named senior registered client service associate. Previously, she was a registered client service associate at MSSB.

State Street Global Advisors of Boston has hired Michael Spellman, 34, as regional sales director of global cash.

He will work with the company’s corporate and institutional clients.

Previously, Mr. Spellman was director and national sales manager for cash management at BlackRock Inc. of New York.

Linde Hansen & Co. LLC of Florham Park, N.J., has hired Tim O’Donovan, 35, as director of sales.

He is responsible for the distribution of contrarian value portfolios.

Previously, Mr. O’Donovan was a managing director at Pacer Financial Inc. of Paoli, Pa.

FactRight LLC of Schaumburg, Ill., has hired Gail Schneck, 51, as director of risk management.

She is re-sponsible for due-diligence research and product development for the company.

Previously, Ms. Schneck was chief due-diligence officer at Buttonwood Investment Services LLC of Littleton, Colo.

LPL Financial LLC of Boston has hired Robert Comfort, 50, as executive vice president of business consulting for its institutional services division.

He will lead the business consulting team and is responsible for serving the approximately 680 banks and credit unions to which LPL Financial provides brokerage, trust and wealth management services.

Previously, Mr. Comfort was the head of Columbus, Ohio-based Huntington Bank’s wealth management businesses, including personal trusts, private banking, broker-dealers and registered investment advisers.
