AssetMark Investment Services Inc. in Pleasant Hill, Calif., is offering registered investment advisers a web-based practice-label version of eWealthmanager. It will incorporate customized graphics, description of services and other background information pertinent to each sponsor.

Clients accessing ewealthmanager.com enter a secure ID code and password to enter their RIA web-based home portal. Daily updates are available to RIA clients and cover a wide range of account details such as real-time and historical positions and values, current portfolio asset allocation, portfolio performance, realized and unrealized gains and losses, transaction history and ledger detail.

Clients may also view background information on model portfolios, as well as market commentaries from portfolio strategists and private-account managers using the AssetMark program.

Asset allocators include Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Brinson Partners, Barra RogersCasey and Standard & Poor’s. AssetMark will bundle eWealthmanager with the mutual fund wrap and separately managed account consulting services it provides RIAs.

The system is also designed to work with AssetMark Advisor Web, which gives RIAs access to such features as an online sortable billing database and tools for administering a fee-based practice.

DotRisk.com updates market software

Washington-based dotRisk Ltd. has released Version 2.0 of its dotRisk.com e-marketplace, which features easy access to a redesigned resource center.

The dotRisk resource center includes a database of articles and papers on key business and investment issues; a comprehensive list of insurance, business, economic and governmental websites; details of key industry events, and breaking market news.

State Street offers currency program

State Street Corp. in Boston now offers an electronic foreign-exchange trading feature called Quick-FX, which complements State Street’s existing FX Connection, an open, multibank foreign-exchange execution tool.

Quick-FX was designed to allow some clients to transact large, single spot or forward trades at high speed with multiple banks. The clients include hedge fund managers and midsize corporations.

TradeWeb expands to agency issues

TradeWeb LLC in New York has expanded to allow institutional investors to trade large, liquid U.S. agency-issued securities, as well as selected securities of supranational issuers, with TradeWeb dealers.

Using TradeWeb’s multidealer transaction system , subscribers will receive live pricing for the largest, most liquid agency issues combined. TradeWeb’s proprietary auction model enables investors to trade with their major dealers.

Union Bank broker remodels services

Union Bank of California Investment Services Inc. in Los Angeles has remodeled its e-plus Electronic Services, which offer account information and investment tools through its website, invest@home, and Telinvest, a voice-activated touch-tone telephone service.

Through e-plus, customers can access their accounts 24 hours a day, seven days a week to check balances, positions and order status. They can also obtain stock quotes and make trades. In addition, invest@home offers account history, news and a variety of tools.

Invesco allowing access on hand-helds

Invesco Funds Group in Denver is offering fund account access via hand-held computers. The company’s website, invescofunds.com, now incorporates wireless services that allow investors to receive fund data through their hand-held computer.

With this new wireless capability, investors may obtain daily fund prices, personal account information and market news.
