Schwab adds Mondrian funds to roster
Charles Schwab's investment management business has added international- and global-equity funds from Mondrian Investment Partners to its Laudus Mondrian fund lineup.
Charles Schwab Corp.’s investment management business has added international- and global-equity funds from Mondrian Investment Partners Ltd. to its Laudus Mondrian fund lineup.
The Laudus Mondrian International Equity Fund (LIEQX) will invest primarily in large-capitalization-equity securities of developed international companies.
The Laudus Mondrian Global Equity Fund (LGEQX) will invest primarily in securities of both U.S. and non-U.S. issuers, and may also invest in emerging-markets companies.
Both funds will be available in three share classes: an investor class with an initial minimum investment of $100 and a net expense ratio of 1.4%, a select class with a minimum initial investment of $50,000 and net expense ratio of 1.12%, and an institutional class with a minimum $500,000 investment and net expense ratio of 1.05%.
The funds are available for purchase today.
Charles Schwab Investment Management Inc. formed the Laudus Group in 2003 to give investors greater access to institutional portfolio managers.
London-based Mondrian Investment Partners managed over $60 billion in assets as of March 31.
Schwab of San Francisco oversees $1.5 trillion in client assets.
