Schwab adds no-load Turner funds
The Charles Schwab Corp. has added four no-load Turner stock mutual funds to its portfolio, bringing the number of Turner funds available through Charles Schwab to 11.

The funds—International Core Growth (TICGX), the Turner Large Cap Growth (TSGFX), the Turner Large Cap Value (TLVFX), and the Turner Midcap Equity (TMCFX)—are offered in Schwab’s Mutual Fund OneSource service, in which investors can buy shares in a mutual fund without paying a transaction fee or commission.
The International Core Growth Fund, Institutional Class invests in non-U.S. stocks with market capitalizations greater than $2 billion.
The Large Cap Growth Fund invests primarily in growth stocks with large market capitalizations.
Large Cap Value fund uses a proprietary quantitative model to invest in value stocks with large market capitalizations.
The Midcap Equity Fund invests primarily in growth and value stocks with medium market capitalizations.
Three of the funds—Turner International Core Growth Fund, Institutional Class, Turner Large Cap Value Fund and Turner Midcap Equity Fund, Institutional Class—are designed for institutional and affluent investors making minimum investments of $100,000.
About 20% of the $2.4 billion in assets invested in Turner’s funds are held by financial advisers and individual investors through San Francisco-based Charles Schwab.
