New customer disclosure rules for registered investment advisers were recently adopted by the SEC. Changes to Form ADV Part 2, the principal disclosure document for both existing and prospective clients, include the mandate that advisers write a narrative organized in a consistent, uniform manner and provide plain-English disclosures about business practices, fees and more.
