The SEC plans to hold a round table July 9 that focuses on benefits and potential challenges associated with fair-value accounting and auditing standards. The round table will be divided into two panels: one that discusses fair-value-accounting issues from the perspective of large financial institutions, and another that discusses the same issues from the perspective of all public companies and investors.
