So long, Sallie
Former Bank of America wealth management chief Sallie L. Krawcheck quietly stepped down from her Finra board seat sometime in the past week or so, according to published reports
Weeks before her ouster last month as part of a management shake-up, she had been elected a governor of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc. to represent large brokerage firms. Had Ms. Krawcheck been able to latch onto another large brokerage firm quickly, she would have been able to keep her seat.
On Friday, her severance package was made known: $6 million. That includes one year’s salary of $850,000 and a one-time payment of $5.15 million that will be made next year.
