Three indies bring $719 million to Securities America

Super OSJ and two large groups switch from NPC, LPL and Invest.

A Super Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction and two independent financial services firms, which collectively manage $719 million in assets, have affiliated with Securities America Inc.

The three are the Gandet Group, of Manahawkin, N.J.; Vizionary Wealth Management, of Wilmington, Del.; and One-Point-Of-Care (OPOC.us), in Worthington, Ohio, Securities America said in a release.

The Gandet Group is a large OSJ whose 10 affiliated advisers manage more than $220 million. It was formerly affiliated with National Planning Corp., which was acquired last year by LPL Financial. The Super OSJ is led by Michael Gandet and focuses on retirement and retirement income distribution.

Vizionary Wealth Management, which manages $177 million in assets, specializes in serving professionals in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and life sciences fields. Headed by Wayne Wagner, Jr., the firm was formerly affiliated with LPL Financial. It will be part of WealthPLAN Partners, a Super OSJ based in Omaha, Neb.

OPOC.us, which specializes in retirement plans, manages $319 million in assets. Its nine employee advisers are led by Aron Sommer.
