George Moriarty

George Moriarty is Chief Content Officer at InvestmentNews. He has been a financial editor and journalist since 1997, working in print, digital, audio and video. Prior to joining IN, George served in a variety of roles, including Editor-in-Chief at Seeking Alpha, Editor-in-Chief for Online Platforms at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, Co-Executive Editor of TheStreet.com, Editor of Investment Dealers' Digest, and Managing Editor of TheStreet.com's RealMoney.com. An active volunteer, working on youth sports, school and civic boards, George and his son have raised more than $30,000 through annual fundraising efforts for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a charity dedicated to funding childhood cancer research. He received a BA from Fordham University in 1993.
