A team of four advisors who managed $220 million in assets at Cadaret Grant, now part of Atria Group, is affiliating with LPL Financial, the firm announced Monday.
SC Financial Group, which is based in Bellevue, Washington, was founded in 2008 by Shane Cloninger and Susan Carter. Carter has since retired.
SC Financial now includes advisors Robert Davis, Rumesh Senanayake and Alex Carter, who is the son of Susan Carter.
The firm focuses on retirement income strategies, investor education and portfolio management, and Cloninger hosts a radio show, “Retirement Freedom.”
LPL is “an industry leading wealth management company that has stood the test of time and will help me provide more consistent experiences for my clients,” Cloninger said in a statement. “It’ll be nice to have the same broker-dealer and custodian under one roof, and LPL’s customized, integrated capabilities will provide clients with easy access to their account information.”
