A Florida advisor who oversaw more than $350 million in assets at UBS has joined Raymond James’ channel for independent advisors, Raymond James Financial Services, the firm announced Monday.

Richard Weisberg will operate as Weisberg Wealth Management in Naples. The firm serves corporate retirement plans, nonprofits, and endowments and foundations, as well as individuals.

“By establishing an independent practice at Raymond James, I gained the freedom to focus solely on working for, and being accountable to, my clients,” Weisberg said in a statement.

Weisberg had been affiliated with UBS Financial Services since 2008, and previously worked at Merrill Lynch for 10 years, according to his BrokerCheck report.

He’s joined in the move by staffers Nancy Comparetto and Cheryl Krebs.
