Carson Group names leaders for adviser and consumer operations

The Carson Group has elevated two executives to serve as co-presidents, with one heading the firm's adviser-oriented efforts and the other its consumer-oriented business. (More:InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 2019: Aaron Schaben) Aaron Schaben, formerly Carson's executive vice president, will lead the firm's business growth and development, overseeing its coaching and partnership offerings, as well as managing initiatives to support partner growth and engagement. Teri Shepherd, formerly chief operations officer, will lead the firm's institutional and retail-focused divisions, including operations, compliance, transformations, technology, communications and stakeholder development. "Teri and Aaron have both been so integral in growing the firm to where it is today — and they'll be just as crucial in fulfilling our vision for where we are going tomorrow," said Ron Carson, the firm's founder and CEO. (More:Carson Group advisers will soon be able to offer clients banking accounts) In addition to assigning co-presidents, Mr. Carson said that Alex Rodawig, formerly vice president of executive business consulting, has been named a managing director and will lead Carson Wealth's 100%-owned offices, including the Omaha-based headquarters, and the Carson Wealth Division.
