Pershing LLC of Jersey City, N.J., a subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon Corp., today made a timely announcement for those advisers that already own an iPhone and are users of Pershing's NetExchange Pro online account management platform. The over 90,000 investment professionals using the software will now be able to access it on their Apple iPhone, using the device’s built-in Safari web browser. This is intended to provide advisers access to their clients’ account and holdings information as well as commission summaries for fee-based advisers and brokers, and a view of the day’s best and worst performing equities, according to Pershing.
