Redtail Technology Inc., a popular provider of client relationship management technology to financial advisers, has teamed up with Pyxis Mobile Inc., a wireless-applications provider, to build the next generation of mobile connectivity to Redtail’s CRM system. It will be available on multiple platforms, including BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile devices. This will allow Redtail’s 20,000 users access to CRM account information on most any smart phone. The two companies announced in a statement that development has commenced and that Redtail users should expect the mobile access sometime in the third quarter of this year. “A nominal monthly fee” will allow current Redtail clients mobile access to their accounts, the statement said. “We recognize that mobility is the next frontier for financial advisers,” Brian McLaughlin, chief executive of Redtail, said in the statement. “If we can give our users the best tools to increase their efficiency and drive their productivity, that will help guarantee success for both them and us.”
