Robinhood Concierge for millionaire investors nears 60,000 clients

Robinhood’s no-fee Concierge team for serving users with at least $1 million in invested assets has grown to about 60,000 clients, as the unit’s leader says it is competing with tech giants in addition to Schwab and other brokerages.

“We're competing with Uber, Amazon, Apple. Every time you open your smartphone and you get that experience where it's one quick touch away, that is now what we are competing with,” said Pat Dunn, head of concierge services at Robinhood. “It's no longer just, what's E-Trade doing over there, or what's Schwab or Altruist doing over there. We need to think about the entire experience, and so that's kind of how I approach this team to serve these customers.”

Dunn, a CFP, spoke at Robinhood’s TradePMR Synergy conference for RIAs in Washington D.C. Robinhood began publicly promoting a Concierge pilot on its channels in February 2026, but Reddit activity dated July 2025 shows users sharing their invites to Robinhood Concierge.

“We were talking, and it was like, hey Vlad, let's just try this thing, trust me, I've seen this work. Let me get 12 really good agents. Let me pull our 10,000 most engaged customers,” Dunn said, referencing early talks to launch Concierge with Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev. “I would call it a great success. We're close to 60,000 customers now in this group. We've grown 6x, our retention is through the roof. I think we're just getting started.”

Before joining Robinhood in 2021, Dunn spent over a decade working for Scottrade, which was acquired by TD Ameritrade in 2017 ahead of Schwab’s purchase of TD Ameritrade in 2019. Robinhood’s invite-only Concierge offer for high-net-worth clients provides access to tax and estate planning services via third parties Vanilla and Taxfyle, as well as phone call and chat access to a CFP (certified financial planner) professional.

“Our goal is to get to 95% of the calls within three minutes, chats within three minutes, SMS within three minutes,” Dunn said of Robinhood Concierge’s response time to clients. “If you do not take care of this revenue stream and these customers and give them the experience that they deserve, they're going to leave, and you are never going to be able to democratize finance for everybody else.”

Robinhood’s website shows its Concierge unit is currently hiring for CFP Relationship Manager roles across offices in Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Lake Mary, FL; Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; and Westlake, TX. Salaries for the roles range from $116,000 to $175,000, depending on location, in addition to being eligible for bonus programs and equity in Robinhood. 

The Robinhood app totals 27 million funded accounts, as the company aims to expand beyond its retail investor base into the financial advice channel since acquiring TradePMR in November 2024 for $300 million. Robinhood Advisor Network is referring clients with at least $250,000 in investable assets to registered investment advisors that custody assets with TradePMR.

“You may have heard of our Concierge desk, which I know has caught the attention, especially with all the Schwab news. Look, I came from TD Ameritrade, I know how advisors feel about custodians competing with them, very uncool. We don't have proprietary products [that] we're trying to push on our customers. It's just not what we do,” said Robinhood chief brokerage officer Steve Quirk, who worked at TD Ameritrade from 2007 to 2020.
