Jimmy Williams is devoted to helping his clients “live life by design”.

Not only is that phrase part of his five-step process for his clients but it’s central to the service he provides his clients. At its core, the phrase means focusing on goals, rather than obstacles, and planning a future with purpose and intention.

“We love to make sure we impact people in big, hairy, audacious ways,” the CEO and president of McAlester, Oklahoma-based Compass Capital Management said. “We want them to realize you have no limitations outside your own thoughts. We help empower people, and we help navigate them through life so that they can realize and utilize their goals, resources and dreams to give themselves a higher quality of life.”

From weekly reports and hosting client appreciation events, Williams is making sure that his clients find a sense of community, and not just “someone that manages their wealth.”

“That, to me, is one of the things that sets us apart,” said Williams.

Williams is being recognized for his service as an InvestmentNews Awards 2024 Excellence Awardee, with the winners announced on June 20 at 583 Park Avenue, New York City in a glitzy, red carpet ceremony. Click here to register to attend.

“We all need to work together within the strengths we've been given and the talents that we've been developing, help the world become better financially and give back to our communities,” Williams added.
