Wells Fargo Advisors LLC beefed up its wealth management presence in Michigan last week, hiring the team of Neil Weissman and Ronald Eppler from Telemus Investment Brokers to work in the firm's Ann Arbor office. The two managed $263 million and had trailing 12 month production of $2.8 million. They will report to Channel Manager Richard O'Connell. Calls to Telemus were not returned before press time. Wells also hired two UBS advisers to work out of the company's Northville, MI office. Daniel Murphy managed $301 million in assets at UBS and had trailing revenues of $2.1 million. Gregory Wright managed $136 million in assets and produced $869,000 in trailing revenues. The two advisers will report to Channel Manager Jessica Malcho. A UBS spokesperson did not return calls for comment.
