Mutual fund and exchange traded fund investors invested more than $55 billion in stock and bond funds last month, marking the second straight month of $50 billion plus in net inflows to long-term funds, according to estimates released today by Strategic Insight Mutual Fund Research and Consulting LLC of New York. Investors put $25 billion into stock funds, $11 billion of which went into ETFs. Bond funds saw inflows totaling $30 billion, $3 billion of which went into ETFs.
