Former Miami Dolphin affiliates with Associated Financial
Shawn Wooden, along with Travis Ruane, managed $125 million at Principal

Former Miami Dolphins safety Shawn Wooden and his business partner Travis Ruane, who managed $125 million at Principal Securities, have affiliated with Associated Financial Consultants & Investor Services in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Associated, in turn, is affiliated with Miami-based Investacorp, a subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services.

Mr. Wooden, who spent nine years (1996-2004) in professional football, was with Principal for seven years. He began his financial career at Metropolitan Life in 2005.

Mr. Ruane, who worked with Mr. Wooden at Principal as a retirement plan specialist, spent eight years in the financial services industry before joining Associated.
