Hightower, a Chicago-based hybrid that takes stakes in other wealth management firms, has made an undisclosed investment in Investment Security Group, a Denver-based registered investment adviser that manages $800 million.
Founded in 1992, Investment Security Group’s principals are Mitch Powers, its chief executive; Barbara Krause, its chief financial officer; Marc Friedman, chief compliance officer; and Odette Sahakian, chief marketing officer. It has ten employees, including six advisers.
