Pershing affiliate Albridge in major update to wealth reporting platform

Newly integrated platform includes reporting tools and data management services.

Pershing affiliate Albridge announced Thursday it has significantly changed its wealth reporting platform with improvements to reporting, analytics and workflow based on extensive conversations and testing with broker-dealers and advisers. The new Albridge Wealth Reporting platform, announced at the Pershing INSITE 2014 conference, allows advisers to analyze and report investor performance at the individual holding, asset class, account or household level both on demand and for any time period, according to the news release. (In other news from Insite: Pershing expands managed account platform, boosts alts information) The web-based data management platform is designed to improve the user experience and improve how advisers use their clients' portfolio data to provide accurate and insightful analysis. It uses “responsive design,” which means advisers can access all data whether they're working on their desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. (See Pershing's Mark Tibergien discuss the profound changes in the advice industry) Also designed to be simpler to navigate than the earlier version, the platform offers a dashboard with easy access to recently reviewed and favorite clients. In addition, it offers interactive summary screens, digital search across an adviser's book of business and better charting capabilities. Technology Tools for Today publisher Joel Bruckenstein, who has tested the new Albridge platform, said it is just starting to roll out in beta and he doesn't believe it's 100% finished. “It's a needed overhaul and took longer to market than anticipated,” Mr. Bruckenstein said. “The design is far superior to the older version.” He added that Albridge's platform is more likely to appeal to broker-dealer firms than to registered investment advisers.
