LPL Financial said Thursday that a team headed by advisors Eric Fenton and Rodney Wangler, which oversaw $300 million in assets at Securities America, which is part of Advisor Group, have joined LPL.
Their Vancouver, Washington-based firm, Fenton Wangler Financial, will be aligned with JFC Advisor Network.
The two advisors founded their firm in 2001.
In a statement, Fenton cited LPL’s technology as one of the factors behind their decision to join the firm. “LPL invests heavily in its innovative technology, which is critical to keep pace in this ever-changing environment,” he said.
